The Winter '08 Buckle Series recently concluded. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you for your support of the exciting and fun speed shows at Southern Wind Ranch.

• Southern Wind Ranch's arena features many types of equine related events including Rodeos, Western shows, English events, and more.
• The arena boasts some of the best running conditions for the area's top barrel racers. It is kept in top running condition using the 3 in 1 Reveal and consists of a mixture of clay, sand, and the area's natural dirt. It is kept well lit for those shows extending into the evening and night with 14 high-powered lights placed strategically around the perimeter.
• The arena serves as a full rodeo facility including 6 bucking chutes and a roping chute for both calf roping and team roping. The announcer stand overlooks the entire arena and features loudspeakers aimed toward the audience and the competitors so everyone can keep up with the action!
• The concession stand features some of the best food around! Remember not to eat before coming or you'll miss our 1/2 pound hamburgers grilled over actual wood, not charcoal or gas. If hamburgers aren't your style, we also have hotdogs grilled over wood and other snacks including chips and candy. On those hot days, wash all this down with and ice cold soda or water from the concession stand.
